How to enjoy your frame for a long time…

All our frames are made out of wood and wood can move. It contracts and expands with changes in temperature and humidity. This said we do not recommend hanging your frame into direct sunlight or areas with high humidity. All our frames include spacers that keep your artwork away from the glazing. Certain changes in humidity can be regulated that way without affecting your artwork. High humidity however can damage the frame and artwork.

All our frames come with a raw finish. Raw timber is not archival. We suggest using a window mat if you do not want your artwork to touch the wood. Sustainability is our focus. We want to reuse, recycle, and repurpose, with the planet in mind.

Please be aware that all our frames are handmade and come with the nature of natural and recycled materials. We make them as perfect as possible using imperfect materials. Product images show this the best they can.
